Afends
Established in 2006, in sunny Byron Bay; Afends defines themselves as an ‘alternative’ clothing brand. There use of materials is certainly alternative, as they create hemp and organic clothing collections, for both men and women. Afends’ philosophy is to ‘question everything’, which they claim means, ‘inspiring people to educate themselves’, a reference to perceptions about mainstream media. Afends produces streetwear and accessories inspired by ‘trends of the future’, both fashion-wise by also through the development of their products.
