Deus ex Machina, or ‘god from the machine’, was brought to life in 2006, in the roaring city of Sydney, Australia. The aim of the brand was to defy the societal belief of only being able to exist in one clique. Founders Carby Tuckwell and Dare Jennings sought to ‘bring together individualism’, through ‘inclusiveness, authenticity, and enthusiasm’.
